New York
Most visitors spend their time in Manhattan. Scale a sky-scraper (our tip, head to the Rockefeller Centre for an aerial view that includes the Empire State Building), take in a Broadway show (last minute tickets are available at Times Square), explore the High Line and Manhattan’s varied districts. If you’ve time, head off the usual tourist track and check out New York’s other boroughs; Queens, the Bronx, Brooklyn (walk there over the bridge!) and Staten Island. You can visit Staten Island via the free ferry, and get a cracking view of the Statue of Liberty on the way past.
Whatever you do in New York, you’ll find one visit is not enough.
